This article explains how to add and manage page elements on your store. Elements are non-product content blocks such as links, text, images, videos, and testimonials that help you structure and enhance your storefront.

What Are Page Elements

Page elements are content blocks that appear alongside your products on your store page. They allow you to:

  • Share links and resources
  • Add text content such as announcements or descriptions
  • Display images and videos
  • Showcase testimonials for social proof

All elements and products appear together in a single list, which you can reorder at any time.

Adding a Page Element

To add a new element:

  1. Go to your Dashboard
  2. Navigate to My Store
  3. Open the Products tab
  4. Click “Add Element”
  5. Select the type of element you want to create

After selecting an element type, you will be prompted to fill in the required details.

Types of Page Elements

1. Link

A link element creates a single clickable button that directs users to another page.

Use cases include:

  • Social media profiles
  • External websites
  • Newsletter or signup pages

Required fields:

  • Link URL
  • Button text or label

2. Link Folder

A link folder allows you to group multiple links under a single expandable section.

Use cases include:

  • Social links grouped under one section
  • Resource collections
  • Partner or affiliate links

Required fields:

  • Folder name
  • Multiple links within the folder

3. Paragraph

A paragraph element allows you to add formatted text content to your store.

Use cases include:

  • Personal bio
  • Announcements
  • Product explanations
  • Disclaimers

You can format text using options such as bold text, lists, and spacing.

4. Image

An image element lets you display an image with optional supporting content.

Use cases include:

  • Promotional banners
  • Product highlights
  • Visual branding

Available fields:

  • Image upload
  • Headline (optional)
  • Caption (optional)
  • Button text and link (optional call-to-action)

5. Video Embed

A video element allows you to embed a YouTube video directly into your store.

Use cases include:

  • Product demos
  • Tutorials
  • Promotional videos

Required field:

  • YouTube video URL

6. Testimonial

A testimonial element displays customer feedback along with a name and image.

Use cases include:

  • Social proof
  • Reviews from clients or customers

Required fields:

  • Reviewer name
  • Photo
  • Quote
  • Optional link

Configuring an Element

After selecting an element type, complete the form by filling in the relevant fields. Each element type has its own required inputs, such as links, text, or media.

Once completed, save the element to add it to your store.

Reordering Elements and Products

All elements and products appear in a single list within your store editor.

To reorder them:

  • Use the drag handle to move items up or down
  • Place elements between products to improve layout and flow

For example, you can insert a testimonial between two products or add a video above a featured product.

Editing or Deleting Elements

To modify an existing element:

  • Click on the element to open its settings
  • Update the fields as needed and save

To remove an element:

  • Use the delete option within the element settings

Where Elements Appear

Elements are displayed on your public store page alongside your products.

  • They follow the same layout as products
  • Their position matches the order defined in your dashboard
  • They are visible to all visitors

Best Practices

  • Use link folders to organize multiple links in a clean way
  • Place testimonials between products to increase trust and conversions
  • Add videos to explain or demonstrate your offerings
  • Use paragraph elements for announcements, introductions, or calls to action

Using elements effectively helps you create a more engaging and structured storefront experience.
