This article explains how to create a lead magnet on mycreator.page. Lead magnets are free offers used to collect contact information, typically in exchange for valuable content such as guides, templates, or resources.
What Is a Lead Magnet
A lead magnet is a free product that customers receive in exchange for providing their contact details, usually their email address.
It is commonly used for:
- Building an email list
- Offering free resources or downloads
- Attracting potential customers
- Starting a relationship with your audience
Unlike paid products, the goal of a lead magnet is lead generation rather than direct revenue.
To create a lead magnet:
- Go to your Dashboard
- Navigate to My Store
- Open the Products section
- Click “Add Product”
- Select “Lead Magnet”
You will be taken to the product setup page.
Product Information
1. Product Name
Enter a clear and compelling name for your lead magnet.
Examples:
- Free eBook: 10 Productivity Hacks
- Social Media Checklist
- Beginner’s Guide to Freelancing
The name should clearly communicate the value of the offer.
2. Product Images
Upload a thumbnail image for your lead magnet.
- Use clean and professional visuals
- Mockups of the resource (e.g., eBook cover) work well
3. Product Description
Use the description field to explain what users will receive.
Include:
- What the content includes
- The benefit or outcome
- Why it is valuable
Even though it is free, a strong description increases conversions.
4. Pricing
Lead magnets must be free. So there is no field for setting price. It is by default set to be a free product.
5. Uploading Product Files
In the product files section, upload the files customers will receive after purchase.

You can also host the file elsewhere and use the download url. For very large files, we recommend using an external host like Google Drive or similar service.
6. Lead Collection Form Fields

When to Use Additional Fields
Add extra fields only when necessary. Keeping checkout simple improves conversion rates.

Avoid adding unnecessary fields, as this can reduce the conversion rates.
